Testimonial Looking into the mirror hasn’t been quite the same experience for me since my first involvement with Gano Excel. Today I stand 35 pounds lighter and over 8 dress-sizes smaller. I’ve had to invest in an all new wardrobe, and I’m able to enjoy a host of activities that just 15 months prior would have drained me of energy and left me physically exhausted. Though I’ve always considered myself to be health-conscious, feeling the way I do in this youthful and transformed state has given me a heightened appreciation of truly good health. I love the way I feel and wish everyone could experience even just a fraction of the vitality I am now charged with throughout my day… every day!
But losing 35 pounds in 15 months represents only half of my personal success story. Physically I may be unrecognizable to certain individuals that haven’t seen me in over a year; this is obviously flattering and maybe even a little entertaining. But what invokes the most amazement in people that have known me for any length of time is the character evolution I’ve undergone in the last 15 months. Where it might have been fitting to describe me as shy, overly-accommodating and maybe even unsure of myself in my not-so-distant past, these descriptors just don’t apply anymore. I’ve come to realize I have significant contributions that I’m able to make to those around me and to society as a whole. I now feel that my opinions are worth their weight in gold and I’m no longer afraid to share them! I now approach friends, associates and even strangers with a renewed sense of confidence and certainty. Never before have I been as extroverted as I am today. I truly am a new ME!
At this point you must be wondering what my secret is! What has allowed me to undergo these transformations in both form and function? The truth of the matter is a whole host of different factors facilitated these changes, but Gano Excel served as the framework and catalyst to bring about these life-altering events that now represent my reality.
I was first introduced to Gano Excel in early Spring of 2007. Throughout my life I had never been a coffee-drinker and actually the taste of coffee had always somewhat repulsed me. A neighbor of mine introduced me to Gano Excel’s “Healthy Coffee Concept” and the mystical powers of Ganoderma Lucidum. After tasting a number of Gano Excel’s beverages I discovered that I enjoyed the taste and feel of Gano’s Red Rooibos Tea, so I joined the organization and started faithfully taking the supplements and drinking the tea twice a day. It took a few weeks before I really started to notice any difference in how I felt. The changes for me were gradual, but definitely present.
I’m not sure if it was by fate or just sheer coincidence, but I naturally began consuming Gano Excel’s beverages when I started to feel hungry throughout the day (typically about an hour before meals). When mealtime came, I found myself eating less but feeling fully satiated. It took me a number of months to actually make the connection between my consumption of Gano Excel’s beverages and the dampening of my appetite at mealtime. By the time I had made this connection though, I had already started shedding some pounds without fully realizing what was happening.
Excited at the prospect of losing some extra weight I had put on since my venture into parenthood, I incorporated other aspects of a healthier lifestyle. I began walking daily and worked my way up to walking over 2 ½ miles a day. Having a better handle on my appetite allowed me to exercise better portion control at mealtime as well. Each of these changes I was making to my lifestyle supported the next and as a result I was able to lose over 20% of my body’s weight! I’m now at a healthy weight for my frame and I’ve been able to successfully maintain the weight that I’m at without hassle.
Inasmuch as Gano Excel has contributed to my loss [of weight], it can also be greatly credited with my gain. Gain in positive self image and confidence that is… When I made the conscious decision to pursue Gano Excel as a business, I quickly found myself emerged deep into situations that often felt somewhat unfamiliar and even a little uncomfortable. Attending tradeshows and local events, meeting new and different people, traveling to attend leadership summits and talking on conference calls were just a few of these “situations” I was completely unaccustomed to.
Prior to my involvement with Gano Excel I had exclusively been a home-schooling housewife for the previous seven years. Though I took great pride in the influence I personally had in the upbringing of my two lovely daughters, it was quite different from these new experiences with Gano Excel. Through the constant encouragement and support of my friends, mentors and upline I found myself stepping past boundaries of discomfort and engaging in activities that I never knew I could handle, much less enjoy! I found great pleasure in meeting new people at the numerous tradeshows I attended... I embraced the synergy and camaraderie I felt with my mentors and team. It was all so foreign to me but I loved it! My social “muscle” was being exercised and growing, as well as my organization of customers and affiliates.
The interesting thing was that everything happening was compounding. As I lost more weight, I felt more confident. As I felt more confident, I became more social. As I became more social, my business efforts became more rewarding. There was a snowball effect and 15 months later I am literally a different person! And it all started with that little cup of Gano Excel’s Red Rooibos tea!
The first year of my Gano Excel career has been about personal exploration and development. With my newfound drive and confidence, I aim to grow my organization and bring the empowering aspects of Gano Excel to everyone that’ll lend a listening ear. I am excited about what the future holds and eagerly anticipate the turn of each new day.
